Welcome to the Nerang Scout Group's website.
Hopefully it will give you a little insight into our Scout Group, wet your appetite for the wonderful opportunities Scouting can bring, or if you are already a member of the our Group you should be able to find up to date details about activities relevant to your section.
Nerang Scout Group is manned totally by volunteers who willingly give up their time to bring Scouting to our youth. Many people incorrectly think of Scouting simply as "knot tying" but our aims are a little more ambitious than that:
"... to encourage the physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual development of young people so that they take a constructive place in society as responsible citizens, and as members of their local, national and international communities."
We choose to use the outdoors as the setting so that we can fulfil our aims whilst providing a high level of fun, adventure, activity and fellowship. Over 30,000,000 Scouts world wide can't be too wrong. To learn more about the different sections of the Group follow the link above.

About our Group
Nerang Scout Group has been operating for fifty years in the township of Nerang. In that time we have been located in many areas. Click to learn a little more about our history.
